board & Train
Our Board & Train programs are designed to give your dog focused, consistent training while also giving you the knowledge and support needed to continue that progress at home.
During their stay, your dog will receive several training sessions each day and attend suitable classes where beneficial. Their behaviour, confidence and progress are assessed daily, with training adjusted to suit the individual dog.
Board & Train can be suitable for dogs of different ages, breeds and temperaments, whether you are looking for help with basic obedience, specialist skills, assistance work, general manners or behavioural rehabilitation.
It is important to understand that Board & Train is not designed to magically “fix” behavioural issues. Instead, it gives us the opportunity to begin the training and behaviour-modification process in a structured environment, establish clearer skills and routines, and then teach you how to continue that work at home.
At the end of the stay, we will provide you with the information, recommendations and practical skills needed to continue your dog’s training. Your dog will also receive a complimentary hydro-bath before heading home.

Designed for dogs needing stronger everyday manners, obedience and practical life skills.
This package may include:
General manners and basic obedience
Recall
Place training
Loose lead walking
Working around distractions
Multiple daily training sessions
1 x 45-minute handover session at the end of the stay
1 x private in-home consultation
Before booking, we require a 1-on-1 consultation so we can assess your dog, discuss your goals, give you some preparation homework and recommend an appropriate length of stay.
Pricing may vary slightly for clients outside the Bunbury region.
🐾 Habit Busters & Dog Reactivity/Aggression Package — starting from $1,700
This package is designed for dogs displaying persistent unwanted habits, reactivity or aggression.
Rather than simply suppressing behaviour, we aim to understand why the behaviour is happening, identify triggers and develop an individual training and management plan.
The program includes work on general manners, obedience, recall, place training, loose lead walking and working around distractions, along with targeted behaviour modification.
You will also receive a 45-minute handover session, three private follow-up consultations at your home or an agreed location, and one term of K9 Connections classes of your choice to help you continue the work and stay on track.
Pricing may vary depending on location and the individual needs of the dog.

Board & Train can be an excellent tool for getting you and your dog moving in the right direction, but lasting behaviour change still requires owner involvement.
In many cases, you may need to change routines, boundaries, handling and the way you interact with your dog once they return home. We will show you what to do, explain why it matters and support you through the transition.
The goal isn’t just to send home a better-trained dog — it’s to create a better understanding and stronger relationship between you and your dog.

Because we are trainers as well as carers, we understand dog body language, behaviour and the importance of providing dogs with the right balance of activity, structure and downtime.
Boarding is also a great option for existing K9 Connections clients whose dogs already know us and our environment.
For dogs needing more intensive training during their stay, we also offer separate Board & Train programs.
