beginner puppy 3 - 9 months
Our Beginner Puppy course is designed to give you and your puppy the foundations for a happy, confident and well-mannered life together.
Over the course, we cover:
🐾Engagement & focus – teaching your puppy to check in and work with you.🐾Name response & recall – building a strong response when called.🐾Sit, down & stay foundations – introducing clear, reliable positions.🐾Loose lead walking – helping your puppy learn to walk calmly beside you.🐾Handling & grooming skills – preparing puppies for vet visits, grooming, nail care and everyday handling.🐾Settling & calm behaviour – teaching puppies how to switch off and relax.🐾Impulse control – helping puppies learn patience around food, people, dogs and exciting environments.🐾Confidence building – safely introducing new surfaces, sounds, objects and experiences.🐾Socialisation – learning how to expose puppies appropriately without overwhelming them.🐾Puppy body language – helping owners recognise signs of stress, excitement, uncertainty and relaxation.🐾Enrichment & genetic fulfilment – understanding how to meet your puppy’s mental and instinctive needs.🐾Preventing common puppy problems – including jumping, mouthing, chewing and unwanted attention-seeking behaviours.🐾Building independence – helping puppies feel comfortable being away from their owner.🐾Real-life manners – skills you can use at home, on walks and out in the community.
Most importantly, we teach owners how puppies learn, so you leave with the skills to continue training long after the course finishes. 4.30pm Mondays, Dardanup (starts 12th of October) 12pm Sundays, Dalyellup (starts 18th of October) 4pm Tuesdays, Bunbury (4 weeks) (starts 13th of October)

Adolescent class 9 - 18 months

Over 6 weeks, we’ll work on skills such as focus, recall, loose lead walking, impulse control, settling, engagement around distractions and everyday manners. We’ll also help you understand the behavioural changes that can happen as dogs mature and how to keep training moving forward.

Across the 6 weeks, we’ll work on intermediate obedience skills, improved heelwork, stays, recalls, position changes, focus around distractions and an introduction to Rally-O exercises and course work.
Rally-O is a great way to make obedience more engaging, giving you and your dog a variety of stations and exercises to complete together while building confidence and communication.

Our Casual Classes are designed for owners who want to keep training without committing to a full course.
They’re a flexible option for dogs and handlers who want extra practice, help with specific skills, or simply a regular opportunity to train around other dogs and distractions.
Depending on your dog’s level, we can work on:

Calm behaviour around other dogs
